Finger Fluency Club

Flat Pick workouts are designed to improve your ability to play fast single note lines with the flat pick. Ideal for all styles, we hone our techniques with workouts and then apply those techniques with flat pick pieces!

Finger Style workouts help develop right hand intelligence for playing a wide variety of finger picking patterns for song accompaniment. We also learn to play classical and popular guitar techniques for playing instrumental pieces.

Left Hand workouts are designed to develop dexterity, speed and the ability to quickly reach any intersection of string and fret with ease. We work on perfecting the Barre technique and how to quickly change chord shapes.

Understanding how notes are arranged on the fingerboard and how chord shapes are formed is a crucial part of becoming a guitar player. Expand your chord knowledge and become a fingerboard wizard!

The best way to practice the Finger Fluency  techniques is to apply them in the context of a piece of music. Finger Fluency Club members can access a big library of Flat Pick & Finger Style pieces with Soundslice interactive TABs

Members of Finger Fluency Club are invited to a weekly online practice session where we play through many of the Finger Fluency Workouts and can delve more deeply into the techniques.

Soundslice is an excellent tool for studying music. It allows for playing the piece with synchronized video, music notation & tablature and both music and video can be played from 1/2 to 2X speed for practice. Finger Fluency Workouts and repertoire are posted in a private Soundslice portfolio for Finger Fluency Club members only.

Every week, members of Finger Fluency Club workout live with Ron and other members on Zoom for a 1 hour and 30 minute Finger Fluency session  - that's six hours of guitar class and guided practice every month!.  Members also gain exclusive access to the ever expanding library of Finger Fluency Workouts and our extensive and growing repertoire of pieces for both Flat Pick and Finger Style techniques -  all in music notation and tablature.
